Vito is an experienced strategic business, brand and marketing consultant with specialist interests in leadership development, coaching, and business growth. A key aspect of Vito’s work is inspiring managers to look at the behaviour of their business from a strategic standpoint, encouraging them to delve into the reason behind the why. Vito maintains the importance of this approach in today’s environment where consumers are more sophisticated and conscious of conventional marketing tactics.
Born in Sicily, Vito’s career history is broad, spanning the International music industry, managing RCA/BMG labels in Europe to producing a rock and classical music product in New Zealand, to sports management and airline marketing, as Project Marketing Manager with Air New Zealand, to economic development, as a manager at Industry New Zealand/NZTE. Once in public sector, Vito managed Government policies as group manager at the Ministry of Economic Development becoming director of New Zealand Major Events, a Government entity he established. More recently Vito re-entered the private sector, as Strategic Director of communications agency, and subsequently worked in the behavioural science area, managing a group of psychology professionals.
